HOW IT’S MADE

This is not your typical studio “sit-down” show. Everything is filmed out there, in the real world, in the handheld camera style of programs like Anthony Bourdain’s A Cook’s Tour, with the quality of Parts Unknown. Creating real, intimate, sensitive, and raw conversations.

There are 2 different Camera & Crew Set-Ups. With the consistency of Director, Interviewer, and Editor operating as one person:

1.     The Low Budget Version

Two people behind the camera, each with their own EZ rig and prime lenses (prime lenses have a fixed focal length, the cameraman cannot zoom or change the focal length, they have to physically move the camera closer or further away to “zoom in” on the subject). Plus, one Assistant Director that’s also recording Sound.

2.    The Ultra-Low Budget Version

We’ll use smartphones as cameras and Shure MVL clip-on microphones for sound (that connect directly with your phone). This ultra-low version will mostly be used during the earlier stages of production and also when shoots are last minute.
