Persona vs. The Real You - A Field Study for The Interview Project
I went to Cannes Film Festival, in France, and Tribeca Film Festival, in New York, to ask people:
Why is it so hard for us to just be real?
It was interesting to me to go to film festivals because I wanted to see people who are in the public eye and have likely curated an image for themselves of who they think they should be versus who they might be authentically. I wanted to see if there was a discrepancy between who they are privately and publicly.ย
